Rebekah McKendry is an American filmmaker, writer, producer, and academic who has established herself as a prominent figure in the horror and science fiction genres. She holds a PhD in Media Arts, as well as Masters degrees in both Film Studies and Education, with her doctoral work completed at Virginia Commonwealth University and additional graduate study at City University of New York and Virginia Tech.

McKendry began her film career working for Fangoria Entertainment and went on to become Editor-in-Chief for Blumhouse Productions, where she honed her expertise in genre filmmaking. Her directorial work includes the acclaimed horror feature "Glorious" (2022), starring J.K. Simmons, which premiered at Fantasia Film Festival and received critical recognition on Rotten Tomatoes. She has also directed "All the Creatures Were Stirring" (2018) and contributed to the horror anthology "Tales of Halloween" (2015), demonstrating her versatility across various formats within the genre.
