- Maurice Hall is an American actor, writer, producer, and director born in Miami, Florida, and raised in Columbus, Ohio. He attended The Ohio State University, where he earned both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree.
A standout athlete, Maurice was a member of Ohio State's National Championship football team and is remembered for scoring game-winning touchdowns against the University of Illinois and the University of Michigan to help secure the Buckeyes' title run. After his collegiate career, he went on to play for the San Diego Chargers before discovering a new passion in acting.
Since transitioning into entertainment, Maurice has appeared in numerous television series, including High Potential, The Rookie, and General Hospital. Behind the camera, he has built a reputation as a writer, producer, and director, most recently earning attention for his holiday films A Heart for Christmas and #WorstChristmasEver.
Maurice lives in Los Angeles with his wife and their three daughters.
