Tyler Fitzmaurice is an award-winning sound designer and composer. His work has screened at hundreds of festivals worldwide, including premieres at Cannes, Sundance, TIFF, Locarno, and MoMA.
Recent distinctions include a Thea Award for Outstanding Achievement and multiple awards for Best Original Score.
Based in Montreal’s Mile End, he operates out of studio Audio Coara, and works fluently in both English and French.
His practice spans auteur-driven documentary, narrative, animation, and large-scale multimedia installations.
