  • After graduating College with an M.B.A Charles started out with a small Financial firm by day while landing acting gigs at night. After landing a big contract he left his financial career to work as a personal assistant for a Multiplatinum Music Video Producer. Charles wrote his first screenplay "The Gift" starring Jamie Hector (The Wire), Michael Wright (Cooley High) , rapper Beanie Sigel and Nicole "Hoops" Anderson, Directed By Charles S Dutton (Aliens) . Charles was awarded a second and third (writing) contract to work with rapper 50 cent on two films projects where one was produced and turned into a feature, he sold the rights to this film in 2009 ergo does not appear in the credits. In the indie scene around New York City Charles was the "go to" guy for local celebrities who wanted to write/produce their own projects. For the last few years Charles worked as an In House Producer at Cinema World Studios under direct tutelage of 2 time Emmy Award winner and studio owner Maurice Keshner. While there Charles honed his production skills while working on several television and film projects before founding Spotlight Entertainment Group.
