Biography

DeMonica began her career in the entertainment industry in high school as a Motown recording artist in the group The Good Girls. After 5 years as a recording artist, having a thirst to gain a better understanding to the dynamics of the music recording industry, DeMonica enrolled in music publishing courses at UCLA. This opportunity allowed for DeMonica to gain a wealth of knowledge in music publishing/music licensing & secure employment at the prestigious Harvey Entertainment Company, which is the copyright owner of such intellectual property as Casper The Friendly Ghost, Wendy the Good Witch and Richie Rich to name a few. This opportunity with Harvey Entertainment Company prove not only a great educational opportunity, but opened doors to employment opportunities for DeMonica with several other great entertainment co's such as Loud Records, RCA Records, LaFace Records, Arista & Ruthless Records home to famed Los Angeles rapper Eazy E. All of the knowledge & great work experience would ultimately cumulate DeMonica in deciding to take the proverbial "bull by the horns" & open her own company known as Music Administrative Services, Inc. (M.A.S).

Music Administrative Services, Inc. (M.A.S) is a music administrative clearance, licensing company handling music licenses & music administration for artist, production co.'s & labels. Flavor Unit (Dedra Tate/Queen Latifah) was the companies first client, a relationship instrumental in launching M.A.S., introducing the company to the licensing of the intellectual property industry. MAS clients included Fox, NBC, Goodwin Sports Mgmt, Empire Distribution, Heads Music,Bentley Evans, Bixio, Motown Records, Hidden Beach, Def Jam, CodeBlack, Ruthless Records, and so forth; and artist such as Trevor Jackson (Grown-ish), NeYo, Wyclef, Anderson Paak, Kevin Hart, Lil Yachty, Damian Lillard (pka Dame D.O.L.L.A.), Erykah Badu, Chief Keef, Papoose, Chaz French, Eric Bellinger, Ray J, Queen Latifah, Jamie Foxx to name a few.
