  • Lynne has worked as a Director at First Take since 1993. First Take is an Independent Production Company based in Liverpool, UK. The ethos is to make films that make a difference, working in diverse communities.

Lynne has recently completed the feature film '1 in 200', as Writer Director, working with the recovery community, people in recovery from drugs and alcohol issues. The film was selected to open the London Labour Film Festival in 2014 and premiered at the Liverpool International Music Festival in the same year.

Lynne has directed several short films including 'Enough Rope' about a direct action based on a true story, which was shot on location in France with BAFTA award-winning Vicky McClure. It was selected for Hamburg Radar International Film Festival and Los Angeles Women's International Film Festival. Her short film 'Tmesis' was selected for international festivals in Sau Paulo, London and Helsinki.
