Andreas Kyriacou is a Cypriot writer, director, and producer with a love for bold stories, offbeat characters, and genre storytelling. His work blends sharp visuals with a strong sense of place, often drawing inspiration from the cultural crossroads of Cyprus. Early in his career, he made a series of short films that played at festivals around the world, helping him build a reputation for fresh, engaging storytelling.
In 2017, Kyriacou's mini series concept, The Midnight Shift, won the HBO Europe Award at the Midpoint TV Launch program. His first feature film, the dark comedy "Au revoir, Slumdogz!", premiered in 2023 and went on to win the Audience Award at the Cyprus Film Days International Festival, cementing his place as a rising voice in regional cinema.
Through his development company Splash Screen Entertainment, Kyriacou continues to create projects that mix heart, humor, and a little bit of chaos.
