Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, D'Kia Anderson relocated to Los Angeles to pursue a lifelong passion for acting and storytelling. Her work spans recurring roles on acclaimed television series including Netflix's Beauty In Black, ABC's The Big Bang Theory, CBS' Grey's Anatomy, Nickelodeon's The Thundermans, HBO Max's Hacks and more. She has also appeared in feature films on Netflix, BET, AppleTV and AllBlk, and brings a recognizable presence to audiences through over 60 national commercials.

Known as a vessel for complex women and layered emotion, D'Kia delivers performances that are raw, magnetic, and deeply human. She gravitates toward characters that reflect the beauty and messiness of real life, always seeking to amplify stories with soul and truth.
