Eric Fulcher is a filmmaker who learned by getting dirty with his work and by being vulnerable. Without any film education, he began writing and directed a feature in Lithuania titled "Chasing Solace" in 2013 (released 2015). The experience taught him a lot, mainly that he needed to learn more about how movies are made.
He quit his job, the first time, and lived out of suitcases for about one year while traveling the United States working in the camera department as an AC, Cam Op and DP. After landing back in his home state of Colorado, he met more established film workers and soon found himself working in Grip and Electric where he found a new passion and skill set.
Within four years of diving into G&E, Eric became an owner operator of a one ton trailer and three ton truck. He now operates the three ton with an additional one tan cargo van.
Eric works primarily as a gaffer and is not opposed to just being a grip. He continues to write, still has the idea of directing one more time in the back of his head and enjoys hockey, traveling, time with his wife, time with his momma and living a peaceful life.
