  • Kathleen Cecchin (Kath-LEEN Cheh-KEEN) a proud member of AEA and SAG/AFTRA, grew up on the Northwest side of Chicago. Of Irish and Italian descent, she attended Catholic school for 16 years, ultimately earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in theater from Loyola University. She worked with Chicago theater companies including The Immediate Theater, Stage Left, Latino Chicago Theater and joined the Actors Equity Association with Expectations by Dean Corrin, featuring Edgar Meyer, Scott McPherson, Annabel Armour and Jack McLaughlin-Gray under the direction of Dennis Zacek at Victory Gardens Theater. Once in Los Angeles, she acted and directed with the The Attic Theater, The Spotlight Theater Company, The Neo Theater Ensemble and USC's Master Playwriting Program's award-winning one act, Cake. Other directing credits include PAM, Sick Money and An Homage to Eric Satie's Laundress. Her writing credits include PAM, Bitch, and Pinocchia, the PlayGround's award-winning short play about a teenage puppet girl.
