  • Erin began her writing career in 1990 where she worked at the Rogers Cable Studios in Richmond, B.C. She researched, wrote, hosted, filmed, edited and later produced several programs for the station.

    She spent five years honing her skills, during which time she began her studies in the Journalism Program at B.C.I.T, and then went on to work at BCTV, where she used her writing skills to assist in copywriting and pre-production research.

    Erin went on to dip her big toe into the world of video production.

    In 2006, she was the producer of the first award ever handed out for best Public Service Announcement of the year through Women In Film Vancouver.

    In 2007, Erin finished her first two docs, Million Dollar Hunch and Hope's Gift.

    The start of 2011, Erin returned to radio and co-hosted the popular Friday drive time show on AM650 The Broad Perspective.

    In 2017, her script Lemon Yellow World, did well in the festival circuit: Current Festival Wins:
    • Best Feature Screenplay at the Manchester Screenplay and Shorts Competition 2017


    • Best Feature Screenplay for the Festigious Los Angeles Film Festival (August 2017)


    • Semi-finalist for the Los Angeles Cine Festival


    • Finalist for the Monthly Film Festival


    • Quarter finalist for the Script & Storyboard Showcase in Los Angeles


    • Official Selection of the Finish Line Screenplay Competition in Los Angeles


    In August 2018, her short story Warm & Familiar will appear in Chicken Soup for The Soul: The Power of Yes!

    In 2018, Erin also wrote the screenplay for the feature-length film To Avenge currently in Pre-Production.
