Viktoriya Romanenko is a Russian stage and screen actress celebrated for her powerful performances in both theatre and film. She has appeared in more than 55 films and television projects. Viktoriya gained wide recognition and critical acclaim for her portrayal of Svetlana Alliluyeva, the daughter of Joseph Stalin, in the television drama Svetlana. She is also noted for her role in Redemption.
Viktoriya was born in Moscow, Russia. A graduate of the Mikhail Shchepkin Higher Theatre School (2008), she has been a leading actress at Moscow's renowned Sovremennik Theatre since the same year, making her debut as Irina in Three Sisters by Anton Chekhov, directed by Galina Volchek. Over the course of her career, she has performed more than 20 leading stage roles, including Anya in The Cherry Orchard by Anton Chekhov, Nina Zarechnaya in The Seagull by Anton Chekhov, Tatyana in The Philistines by Maxim Gorky, and Anna in Morphine by Mikhail Bulgakov.
Before beginning her acting career, Viktoriya Romanenko was a competitive figure skater and holds the title of Master of Sports of Russia.
