Some of these film spots were shown on TV, among them: Fair Game (1995), The Rock (1996), Van Helsing (2004), Lost & Found (1999), El pollo, el pez y el cangrejo real (2008), The One (2001), Tom and Jerry Blast Off to Mars! (2005) and The Island (2005).

- He wrote his first short story at 14. It was a South Park (1997) episode called "The K Files" (spoofing The X-Files (1993) the story tells how the kids discovered why Kenny revived every single day). He showed it only to his friends.
- In 2002 he made his first screenplay. It was an adventure/science-fiction/action/comedy story mixing The One (2001) and his school mates. He called it "The Door from the Corner" ("La puerta de la esquina" in Spanish). Later that same years he also shot his first short with 2 friends in 2 days. It was a spoof of Scream (1996).
