Majid Leilaji was born in Tehran on June 24, 1975. He holds a diploma in Dramatic Arts from the Broadcasting School of Arts and a bachelor’s degree in Dramatic Arts with a focus on set and costume design from the University of Arts and Architecture. He received an award for his first work in cinema as the costume and set designer for Barefoot in Paradise. He continues to work professionally in films, television series, and theater as a costume and set designer.
