Along with that success, came several television appearances along with his wife/partner, Alisa P. Yarbrough. They toured extensively, both in the United States and abroad - showcasing Don't Stop the Music along with Guilty, I Wouldn't Lie to You...and many other songs.

Soon, Cavin was approached about acting in theatre. He acted in several performances, and then Blind Lemon Blues came along, and he played three characters as well as performing with the ensemble. He and Alisa performed in this piece, and they, along with Director Akin Babatunde Wrote/Arranged the music. Blind Lemon Blues was performed at the Guggenheim Theatre in New York, and Off-Broadway...and off to Europe.

Soon after that, Cavin and Alisa were asked to act in a movie called "The Rings That Bind Us". It was an amazing 1st experience, acting in a movie. Soon after that, they were again approached to act in a short film called Flesh and Bones...and just recently, they filmed in a A Miracle Christmas! They now have the "acting bug", along with music and stage!!
