- HB/OHB taken 165th overall by the Baltimore Colts in the 1958 NFL draft. Played for the Edmonton Eskimos (1957-1958), Baltimore Colts (1958-1959), Chicago Cardinals (1959-1960), Houston Oilers (1960-1961), and the St. Louis Cardinals (1961). Member of the 1958 NFL Champion Baltimore Colts, and the 1960 AFL Champion Houston Oilers.

- Rrecruited by Paul 'Bear' Bryant to play at Texas A&M, Hall quit the team 7 games into his sophomore year, then quit again in his junior season, both times because he was not a starter, and Bryant, frustrated Hall could not block, had moved him to fullback. Years later, when Bryant was head coach at the University of Alabama, he sent Hall a letter apologizing for the way he had handled Hall at A&M.
