  • Monal Pathak was born in Augusta, ME on October 3, 1979. He began acting at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where he studied Economics and Environmental Science (Dual BS, 2003). While working in the Environmental Protection Bureau of the New York State Office of the Attorney General he appeared as Caliban in a local production of The Tempest, followed by Bottom in A Midsummer Night's Dream, after which he moved to Newark, NJ to pursue acting full time at the Shakespeare Theater of New Jersey. He has worked off and on in banking and theatre for the past ten years.

    Most recently he appeared on stage in the American première of David Greig's 'Europe' (Thalia's Umbrella), which was canceled in March 2020 due to the pandemic. Select professional theatre credits include ensemble and featured roles in: The Tempest (Ariel); Richard III (Lord Hastings); Titus Andronicus; Henry VI Part 3; The Comedy of Errors; Julius Caesar; Les Liaisons Dangereuses; Ivanov; and Around the World in 80 Days. Uncredited television/film background work includes: Julie Taymor's Across the Universe; Disney's Enchanted; The Sopranos; and Law & Order: Criminal Intent.
