Massimiliano Lazzaretti (born 27 September 1977 in Rome) is an Italian composer, orchestrator, and accordionist.
He graduated with honors in Composition from the Conservatory "A. Casella" - L'Aquila, located in L'Aquila. During his studies, he trained under the guidance of distinguished composers including Matteo D'Amico, Ivan Vandor, Luis Bacalov, Carlo Crivelli, and Sergio Prodigo.
In 2016, he was awarded the title of Best Italian Composer and received the award for Best Original Score for his music for the film Il Traduttore.
A versatile musician, Lazzaretti’s work spans film and television soundtracks, concert (absolute) music, and theatrical productions. As both a composer and accordionist, he has received numerous awards in national and international competitions.
