Bella Balsamo is an Italian-American actress, born and raised in Los Angeles, CA to a family of renowned filmmakers and artists. She is the daughter of Oscar winner Alec Gillis, practical special effects artist. Bella moved to New York City where she produced and acted in theatre for nearly seven years. She has also starred in nearly fifteen Italian and French short films. Bella is a lifelong actor and director, highlighting the dark corners of femininity.
