Derick Joe graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 1999,
majoring in Radio-Television-Film.
Derick Joe has edited the feature Forward/Backward (2009) and shot the short films Rhymes with Syringe (2011) and The Mignogna Chronicles (2012). He was Director of Photography on the feature length Last Months Rent (2014) and the short film, Working Late (2015). He also directed the short, Photogeist (2015).
