Ali’s latest Emmy-nominated feature film, No Accident (HBO/MAX), premiered in October 2023. Other recent documentaries include the Oscar-nominated The Barber of Little Rock (The New Yorker 2024), Fauci (Disney+/Telluride 2021), Yusuf Hawkins: Storm Over Brooklyn (HBO/Tribeca 2020), and the Emmy-nominated feature Not Done: Women Remaking America (PBS 2020). She is honored to have been a 2020 Impact Partners Producing Fellow and to have been named to DocNYC’s 2021 list of 40 Under 40.
