Biography

Classically trained, Edward is an award-winning actor on stage and screen. On film, Edward stars as reclusive filmmaker J.S. In Michael Allen Henessy's Critic (2023), as power hungry CEO Wallace White in Henry & Anderson's The Merger [Best Comedy Performance (happily shared with Will Springhorn), Skiptown Film Festival; Best Actor, Absurd Film Festival], and as charismatic billionaire Daniel Fillmore in Hassan Said's groundbreaking This Is Your Song (2019).

A survivor of The Boston Conservatory's rigorous BFA program, Edward has worked consistently for the last 3 decades--an unlikely occurrence, according to several of his professors.

Regional theatrical credits include Max Bialystock in The Producers, Frog in A Year With Frog & Toad, Cervantes/Quixote in Man of La Mancha and Lord Farquaad in Shrek. As a veteran member of the San Francisco cast of The Dinner Detective, Edward has been solving the mystery of awesomeness for nearly a decade.

Edward is a very good cook, an exceptional gardener and an avid outdoorsman. He would rather be backpacking at just about any time (he'll happily talk your ear off about it), having successfully thru-hiked the JMT twice--the second time solo. While Edward has many other long-haul trails in his sights, he is focused on the most important path (and his best role to date), fatherhood.

A skilled improviser and occasional stand-up comedian, Edward thrives in both long- and short-form improvisation; audience interaction is his superpower, and he looks forward to dazzling your audiences--cinematic or theatrical--in every way possible.
