Chanel B, a native of Lyons, New York, discovered her love for performing at an early age. At just three years old, she began singing in church and soon moved into school musicals, church plays, and community theater, including the historic Ohmann Theatre. By her sophomore year, she earned a Rochester Broadway Theater League nomination for Best Supporting Actress.
After relocating to Atlanta, Chanel expanded her artistry across stage, screen, and music. She has performed in powerful productions such as From Porn to the Pulpit at the prestigious Atlanta Symphony Hall, as well as other plays throughout Atlanta and along the East Coast. On screen, Chanel has appeared in TV One's Fatal Attraction, the internationally known film Privileged, and multiple films streaming on Tubi and Amazon Prime. She also hosted her own celebrity interview series, The Rough Kut, on Roku TV, giving audiences an inside look at entertainers' journeys to success.
As a recording artist, Chanel has performed at major venues and festivals including State Farm Arena and the Sweet Auburn Festival. Under her label, BTRU2U Entertainment, she continues to release original music, with her self-titled EP Chanel B. arriving in 2025.
