Katherine Hopkins Nicholas was born on November 7, 1950 in Los Angeles, California, USA. She was an actress, known for The Capture of Bigfoot (1979), The Bionic Woman (1976) and Charlie's Angels (1976). She was married to Fayard Nicholas and Jon Charles Zerby. She died on August 15, 2012 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

A dancer herself, Katie Hopkins was twice married to dancers, both of whom were far older than she -- first to Jon Zerby (father of actress Kim Darby, who was several years older than her stepmother), and, secondly, to the legendary Fayard Nicholas, who, 36 years Hopkins' senior, even predated Hopkins's parents (Bob Hopkins and Mavis Russell).

Her parents were Mavis Russell and Bob Hopkins (who died when his daughter was 12 years old). Her childless marriages to men far older than herself (Jon Zerby and Fayard Nicholas) were likely attempts to find a father figure to fill that void in her life.
