Biography

Becca McCracken is an award-winning casting director with more than twenty years of experience casting theatre, film, television, and commercial projects across the United States. She serves as Director of Casting & Artist Cultivation for the Tony Award-winning Court Theatre in Chicago, where she has cast more than 30 productions.

A member of the Casting Society, Becca serves on the organization's Board of Directors and has been a strong advocate for artists and the casting profession throughout her career. She is a two-time Artios Award winner, recognized for her casting work on Lyric Opera of Chicago’s acclaimed productions of West Side Story and Fiddler on the Roof.

In addition to her professional casting work, Becca is a sought-after educator and speaker, having taught and guest lectured at the University of Chicago, the University of Illinois, DePaul University, Roosevelt University, Western Illinois University, Vagabond School of the Arts, the School at Steppenwolf, and other regional training programs.

Throughout her career, Becca has been committed to identifying, championing, and elevating exceptional talent, with a particular passion for supporting the vibrant artistic community of Chicago.
