Biography

Luca G. Rossetti is a Film Director, Art director, and Film designer, also, who specializes in film, video games, and commercials.

Born in Italy grew up quickly in the international VFX industry working for high-end blockbuster movies over the years and everywhere over the planet

VFX''s initial interest in films, gave way to matte painting and concept design after he saw the Art of many VFX books. Luca became an artist with his own energies.

A lot of interesting positions under his belt like senior concept artist and matte painter for Snow White, Total Recall, Gatsby and again trough the recent Star Wars: Rogue One

He has overseen 2 departments for Conan the Barbarian under the supervising of Dylan Cole. He also worked as DMP/Environment supervisor for MARZ VFX recently brought to live a huge number of shows like Umbrella Academy, Moon Knight, Mrs Marvel, Guillermo del Toro Cabinet of Curiosities, Ant Man Quantomania and the most recent The Creator of Gareth Edwards.

Specialized in Digital Matte Painting, with a particular interest in combining photo-real 2D art with 3D and/or models with a thorough understanding of 3D and compositing techniques needed to create and achieve totally convincing extensions and environments.

Luca is also a writer, director, and producer for some projects like The Edge of Humanity, The Reboot, that won an Award in Best Shorts Film Competition, a second one at Los Angeles Film Award and a selection at Palm Spring Film Festival, plus the upcoming feature film "The Unkind" as a Writer and Producer and Director.
