Streaming Stars, Then and Now

Shiva Rodriguez was practically raised in the theatre with both her parents in the live entertainment business. While no stranger to being on stage, she developed an interest in special effects and makeup at an early age and took every opportunity she could to break open her makeup kit. Throughout most of her childhood she would study horror films and then recreate the makeups and effects on family and friends.

She has also worked with sets, props, and costumes for theatrical events, tourist attractions, and private clients. While she enjoys the challenge of doing practical effects for live audiences, in 2008 she began to expand more into film work doing special effects and screen-writing for small productions.

In 2013 she began directing, starting with the feature film Predatory Moon.
