Biography

Alexi Carpentieri was born on February 18, 1992 in Campania, Italy. He is an actor and cinematographer, known for Röd picknick (2008), Gas Guzzling Ghoulie (2009) and Trion från Dystopin (2009).

Cousin of actress Euridice Axen.

Together with Franciska Svenson and others he was involved in a well known scandal which took place in the winter of 2007. A team of five persons from the famous film school Kulturama were shooting a short film on 16 mm. During the shoot the police became involved seeing that amongst the theatrical properties there was no less than ten authentic machine guns. It was seen as unlawful possession of weapons as the person responsible for the guns did not own them himself, he had borrowed them from a friend.

Owns a 35mm copy of the film The Beast (1975) by one of his favorite directors Walerian Borowczyk.

If the director leaves the audience with some unrequited questions, suddenly the situation turns into a stimulating affair. - When interviewed by a journalist on a short film he made for television (2007)
