Biography

Buddy Greene is known for A Madea Christmas (2013), Letters to Santa 2 (2015) and Brenda K. Starr: Mary Did You Know (2021).

Not only is he a virtuoso on the harmonica, but he is also an exceptional guitarist, songwriter and singer.

In 1991 he won a Dove Award for the Best Country Album "Sojourner's Song.".

In 1992 with Mark Lowry, he co-wrote the song "Mary, Did You Know?" The song has become a Christmas standard and has been recorded by Kenny Rogers, Natalie Cole, Reba McEntire, Gary Chapman and Kathleen Battle.
