Biography

Starting his career as a programmer for Bjork and then for legendary producer Nellee Hooper (where he contributed to recordings by Gwen Stefani, Lamb, P Diddy, Kelis, Holly Valance and many more) Martin Eden has gone on to carve a name for himself in the music, film and TV industries. Eden entered the world of TVC composition when he was asked to score the music to Michel Gondry's award-winning Swap TVC for Levi's. He has been nominated and won awards for his work on Pepsi, Kia, Australia's Next Top Model, Big Cola, and Virgin Mobile. His work in Film and TV includes Baz Luhrmann's movie Australia (also co-producing the soundtrack album with Luhrmann); mixing Killing Joke's definitive documentary The Death & Resurrection Show and the zombie survival movie Dregs. Eden worked both on and off-screen as Music Director on both of Michael Bolton's reality TV shows Bolt of Talent and Asian Dream and has composed music for many TV shows including Australia's Next Top Model, Survivor, and The Contender. Remaining active in the music industry throughout this time as a Producer/Mixer in his own right, Eden has worked on tracks for Elton John, Michael Bolton, Sophie & The Giants, The Ramona Flowers, Sour, MeOne, Felixity, Pig & Sasha Grey, Aloe Blacc, and THEKINGROCKER.
