Lolita Ray, born Mira Lolita Teresia Ray, February 21, 1957, in
Stockholm Sweden by an Indian father and a Swedish mother. She is a
singer-songwriter, poet, scriptwriter, organizer of festivals,master of
ceremonies, hiker and the mother of five grown up children. She made a
1040 kilometer walk for the climate, during autumn 2008. 2millionsteps.
And she made her debut as a scriptwriter 2010 with Pernilla August with
the film "Svinalangorna" "Beyond" based on the August rewarded novel by
author Susanna Alakoski. She is a singer-songwriter in the band
Brittakaren and as a solo performer with her own songs. She has been
touring Wales, Finland and Sweden over the years. The CD "Flickan av
is" (The girl of ice) Singular Songs/PLUGGED was be released in
November 21 and it contains ten original songs and three translations
of American singer-songwriter Steve Earle.
