Veteran Malayalam actor and director.

After completing his college studies, he joined the National School of Drama, New Delhi, graduating with first rank. He further pursued a television course at the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune, solidifying his foundation in performing arts.

Displayed a keen interest in the performing arts from an early age, actively participating in school theatre at Thrithallur UP School.

Completed his post graduation at the Film and Television Institute of India.

Was awarded as the Best Director at the Venjaramoodu Ramachandran Memorial State Professional Drama Festival (2010) for his drama, Ramanan.

Began his acting career with the Kalidasa Kalakendram theatre group owned by his father in law O Madhavan.

Graduated from the National School of Drama.

Brother-in-law of popular actor and Kollam MLA Mukesh.

Beyond acting, Rajendran also worked as a theatre director and was engaged in various creative pursuits. He served as the Chairman of the State Horticulture Corporation, reflecting his involvement in public life.

Rajendran had a long career in Malayalam cinema, theatre, and television, appearing in around 60 films and also actively working as a stage director.
