Tracie Fiss

Biography

Tracie Fiss

Biography

  • Tracie Fiss is an accomplished producer, having worked most notably on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (1992) for over 20 years. Currently, Tracie is helping the JibJab brothers, Evan and Greg Spiridellis, cast their new Netflix TV show "Storybots," which is a children's show. Previously, Tracie was the Talent Producer for NBC's Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris (2015) (the upcoming American version of ITV's Saturday Night Takeaway), for which she was responsible for all the celebrity bookings on the new variety show. Prior to this, Tracie served as co-executive producer on CBS Television Distribution's Jerry O'Connell talk show project. Prior to that, she was talent executive on NBC's The Maya Rudolph Show (2014), a primetime variety special. Tracie is also currently the executive booking consultant to Fusion - the joint-venture between Univision and ABC News - where she advises the cable network's management on talent development and booking. Previously, Tracie was the co-producer of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (1992), where she was an integral part of the team for two decades. Tracie held that role until the show ended its historic run in February 2014. Tracie was Jay's right-hand, as well as one of the senior talent and segment producers on the show. Through her many years at The Tonight Show, Tracie developed the most phenomenal relationships in Hollywood - from the A-list stars, to hot up-and coming talent, to the major executives - and honed her producing skills, as well. In fact, she was responsible for developing and producing a great many of The Tonight Show's highest-rated, and most critically-acclaimed, celebrity focused segments. Tracie was also responsible for "discovering" many would-be stars, booking them on the show before they were familiar faces - all thanks to her eye for talent. Tracie began her career in casting (she cast the very first season of MTV's _Real World) before becoming a producer on The Tonight Show.
