Biography

Lise Fischer is known for her VFX supervision on L’Inconnu de la Grande Arche (2025), Resurrection (2025), and Animale (2024).

With 18 years of experience in visual effects in France, she is a leading expert at The Mill (ex-MPC Paris), recognized for her high standards and expertise. After studying audiovisual media, she began her career at Mac Guff Line in 2007 as a compositing artist, working on the animated feature Dragon Hunters and major productions including Le Petit Nicolas (Laurent Tirard), Largo Winch (Jérôme Salle), and Transporter 2 (Louis Leterrier). She then joined Illumination as a compositing supervisor, contributing to hits like The Lorax, Despicable Me 2, and The Secret Life of Pets.

In 2020, she joined The Mill (ex-MPC Paris) as a VFX supervisor, leading projects such as Notre-Dame Brûle (Jean-Jacques Annaud), Animalia (Sofia Alaoui), and La Montagne (Thomas Salvador), earning a César nomination for Best Visual Effects in 2023. Since 2021, she has continued VFX supervision on films including Flo (Géraldine Danon), while collaborating on L’Île Rouge (Robin Campillo) and L’Empire (Bruno Dumont). Several of her projects have been selected at Cannes, including Emilia Pérez (Jacques Audiard) in the Official Selection 2024, and Animale (Emma Benestan), which closed Critics’ Week.
