Chaitanya Sant is one of India's most celebrated visual storytellers, with over 25 years of experience shaping the face of Indian cinema through iconic film publicity and creative campaigns. A graduate of the prestigious Sir J.J. School of Arts, Mumbai, he has been instrumental in transforming the way films are visually communicated to audiences, blending fine art sensibilities with marketing precision.
Over the course of his career, Chaitanya has created landmark publicity campaigns for some of the biggest and most diverse films across Indian cinema, including Padmaavat, Bajirao Mastani, Rowdy Rathore, Mary Kom, Life in a Metro, Khosla Ka Ghosla, Bluffmaster, and Taxi No. 9211. His more recent body of work includes Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Heeramandi, the forthcoming historical epic on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj featuring Rishab Shetty. Each project is testament to his ability to translate the core of a story into a single, unforgettable visual identity.
Chaitanya is renowned for distilling the soul of a film into a single iconic image-work that not only drives audience anticipation and box office impact but also endures in cultural memory. His creative fingerprints can be seen across genres, from sweeping historical epics to intimate dramas and cutting-edge independent cinema, each campaign amplifying the film's voice in the crowded entertainment marketplace.
He also holds the distinction of directing India's first 3D advertisement film-Pidilite's ACRON RANGEELA, created for the children's feature Chhota Jadugar 3D. This milestone reflects his drive to experiment with new technologies and expand the grammar of visual storytelling.
His vision is to develop a slate of powerful, original stories that are deeply rooted in Indian culture yet resonate globally.
Chaitanya believes in the power of cinema as illusion and spectacle-a force that dazzles, inspires, and transforms.
