- Tomas Srovnal is a post-production and visual effects supervisor and executive producer, renowned for his extensive contributions to the film and television industry. He serves as a partner and producer at PFX, a leading Czech company specializing in post-production services and visual effects operating worldwide.
He started in 2005 as a post-production technician, then technologist and since 2012 he has been the director of the Cinepost post-production studio located at Barrandov Film Studios. Under his leadership, Cinapost merged with PFX in 2017, where he became a partner and took charge of the film and television post-production department.
Throughout his career, Srovnal has managed and supervised numerous projects, collaborating with leading Czech, Slovak, Polish, US directors and cinematographers on a variety of films and television series.
In addition to his work in industry, Srovnal has shared his expertise as a guest lecturer at a various of film institutions and schools, contributing to the education of future industry professionals.
Under Srovnal's co-leadership, PFX has expanded its operations across Central Europe. In 2022, the company unveiled a new studio in Slovakia. Subsequently, PFX completed acquisitions of the Polish studio 'Human' and the VFX + post-production division of the German studio Cine Chromatix and VFX studio Vast based in Vienna in 2024, broadening its international presence.
