Biography

Son of Norman Ollestad.

Was a 11 year old passenger on a small chartered plane with his father (43), his father's girlfriend, Sandra (30), and the pilot when the plane flew into a snow storm and struck a 8600 foot mountain. He was the sole survivor of the plane crash. He climbed out of the wreckage and descended a mountain to safety. He wrote about it in his 2009 bestseller Crazy For The Storm: A Memoir Of Survival.
