- Sergio Rendine was born on September 7, 1954 in Naples, Campania, Italy. Sergio was a composer, known for Bim Bum Bam (1981). Sergio died on April 21, 2023 in Pescara, Italy.

- Rendine won the 'Prix Italia' and 'Premios Ondas' with "Alice" in 1987-1988.

- He was pupil of Domenico Guaccero at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome and of Giuseppe Agostini at Pesaro Conservatory.
- Together with Yoritsune Matsudaira, Gian Carlo Menotti, Krzysztof Penderecki and Alfred Schnittke, Rendine was commissioned by the Nobel Peace Prize Committee to compose the Mass for Peace, which was performed at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert in Oslo on 11 December 1995.
