Michael Crommett

Michael Crommett is an Emmy and Peabody winning documentary filmmaker and ASC Award nominated cinematographer who has numerous nonfiction projects across a variety of platforms including Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, PBS, MSNBC and more. He shot the National Geographic series PHOTOGRAPHER as well as the Sundance award-winning documentary GOING VARSITY IN MARIACHI. As a Latino filmmaker he strives to tell unifying narratives about the diaspora, including in the second season of LEGUIZAMO DOES AMERICA which premiered in 2025. After four years of work, his directorial debut LIFT OFF will be released in 2027.
