Biography

Marjorie was born and brought up in the spa town of Malvern, England. She lived for some time in New Zealand and American Samoa before returning to the UK to attend the University of Wales as a mature student. She planned on becoming a Chartered Accountant, but right after graduation heard from Craig -- who she met in Pago Pago six years earlier. She flew to Hawaii to see him, and Chartered Accountancy was soon forgotten.

Marjorie and Craig started Transax, a cheque guarantee firm, in the the UK in the mid 1980's and sold it to a NYSE-listed company ten years later. She has owned a luxury dog hotel in England, a poi manufacturing company in Honolulu, and has raised Kobe beef, pedigree Highland cattle, and Kurobuta pork. She now lives in Honolulu with husband Craig and Ka La, a mini English bull terrier.
