Birabongse Bhanudej was born on July 15, 1914 in Grand Palace, Bangkok, Thailand. He died on December 23, 1985 in London, England, United Kingdom.

Ex-Formula One racing driver, who raced for: Enrico Platé (1950 (4 GPs)), Ecurie Siam (1951 (1 GP)), Gordini (1952 (4 GPs)), Connaught Engineering (1953 (3 GPs)), Scuderia Milano (1953 (1 GP)), Maserati (1954 (1 GP)) and Prince Bira (1954 (5 GPs)). He started 19 Grands Prix and 8 Points. Best ranked in the World Championship: 8th in 1950.
