Gabrielle Almagor is an accomplished Producer, Casting Director, and Film Packaging Strategist with more than 15 years of experience developing, financing, packaging, casting, and producing independent feature films. Recognized for her ability to bridge creative vision with commercial strategy, she has built a career helping filmmakers transform promising scripts into finance-able, market-ready films that attract talent, secure investment, and reach audiences around the world.
As the Founder of Urban Tales Productions and Urban Tales Casting, Gabrielle has produced, packaged, and cast more than 40 feature films across a wide range of genres, including thrillers, dramas, action, comedy, horror, family, and faith-based films. Her rare combination of producing and casting expertise allows her to approach every project holistically, aligning creative decisions with financing, foreign sales, tax incentives, distribution strategy, and long-term commercial value.
Her work spans every stage of filmmaking, from screenplay evaluation and creative development through talent packaging, multi-scenario budgeting, finance plans, waterfall modeling, incentive structuring, production oversight, and worldwide distribution. She regularly negotiates above-the-line talent deals and collaborates with producers, financiers, agencies, managers, sales companies, distributors, and filmmakers to build projects designed for both artistic success and marketplace performance.
Throughout her career, Gabrielle has helped launch and deliver films released by major studios, international distributors, and global streaming platforms. Her producing and casting credits include Willy's Wonderland starring Nicolas Cage, The Doorman, The Re-Education of Molly Singer, Peel, The Locksmith, 13 Minutes, Corporate Retreat, Stay Forte, Dispossessed, and numerous additional independent features. Her work has premiered at internationally recognized festivals including Tribeca, the Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF), Raindance, and Oldenburg.
2026 marks one of the most active years of Gabrielle's career, with Corporate Retreat, Stay Forte, Dispossessed, 10 Kilos, and Wrong Side of Dead releasing throughout the year, while multiple additional feature films move into production during Fall and Winter 2026. Her growing slate reflects an expanding reputation for building commercially viable, talent-driven films that successfully navigate today's evolving independent marketplace.
