Biography

Sharon Contillo is an award-winning filmmaker. She founded Middle Center Productions, LLC, to focus on female-led and family productions where she highlights the under-represented giving them a platform to be seen and heard. Sharon serves as President of Women in Film & Video New England, a nonprofit (501c3) organization and is a board member of Women in Film & Television - US.

Recent awards:

• Best Shorts Award 2020
• Rhode Island State Council on the Arts Grant winner 2019
• IBM Master Storyteller Award 2019.

Sharon executive produced Jack Goes Home, (directed by Thomas Dekker and starring Britt Robertson, Rory Culkin & Natasha Lyonne); wrote, directed and produced four IBM Trade Show Commercials; wrote, directed and produced a short PSA, Curls 2020; Authored "The Little Christmas Ornament" youth chapter book.
