  • Luke Haigh is a Kiwi/British film editor responsible for splicing fine films such as Taika Waititi's Hunt for the Wilderpeople, Daniel Radcliff action comedy Guns Akimbo, Lee Tamahori's pre-colonial New Zealand epic The Convert, Sundance Midnight favourite Turbo Kid, US Netflix rom-com The Royal Treatment and Samoan choral tearjerker Tina.

    In addition to his feature work, Luke has edited numerous short films that have screened at prestigious global festivals, including a film that won La Semaine de la Critique at Cannes.

    Luke's commercial editing experience is extensive, with a focus on big-budget campaigns for global brands. He has worked on advertisements for major companies such as UberEATS, Xfinity, AT&T, Coca-Cola, Lipton, Nike, Toyota Hilux, McDonalds, and Sprite, with several campaigns receiving top honours, including Grand Prix at Cannes Lions, Clio, and D&AD awards.

    Throughout his career, Luke has collaborated with renowned directors and production companies, including Damien Shatford (Biscuit Filmworks/Sweetshop), Taika Waititi (Hungry Man), Steve Ayson (MJZ), Joel Kefali (Arts&Sciences/GoodOil) and Mark Albiston (Merman/Sweetshop).

    Luke divides his time between Auckland and Los Angeles, has British and New Zealand passports and an O-1 visa for work in the USA.
