Jasmin Espada CEO & Founder Espada PR
Jasmin Espada is an award-winning entertainment PR strategist, publicist and film producer founder of Espada PR, an entertainment public relations firm founded in 2003. Espada started her career in entertainment at the age of 19 as a radio co-host in Ponce, Puerto Rico. During Espada's college years at UMASS Boston, she served as Assistant to the Student Trustee and helped coordinate rock concerts and special events on campus.

In 1991 Espada relocated to Los Angeles where she worked in the nonprofit sector on drug rehabilitation and prison reform as well as advocated against abuses in the field of mental health. Working on prison reform led her initiation into publicity with the film Bound by Honor distributed by Buenavista Films.

In 1994 Espada joined Mission: Renaissance Fine Art Studios and a few years later was appointed Vice President for Public Relations. Espada secured press at local and national levels making the brand the leader in its field.

In 2003, Espada returned to entertainment and founded Espada PR, becoming a pioneer in defining multi-cultural publicity in Hollywood and getting to be known not only for creating careers but also for re-igniting them.

Espada's impressive list of clients include some of the top names in entertainment starring in award-winning shows such as Jane The Virgin, Titans, Ozark, One Day At A Time, Chicago Med, Tacoma F.D., On My Block, Mayans M.C., Chicago Justice, Chicago PD, Teen Wolf, Switched at Birth, How to Get Away With Murder, Selena: The Series, Gentefied and Criminal Minds. Espada also worked on box office hits such as Bound By Honor (Blood in, Blood Out), LOGAN, Miracles From Heaven, Chavez, Superfly, Spare Parts and Indie films such as 30 Days with my Brother, North By El Norte, H.O.M.E., Varsity Punks, The Contractor, In Other Words and Suffer For Good. In the field of music Espada was the executive producer of the legendary rock festival Revolucion Rokera working with iconic bands such as El Tri, Molotov, Vampiro and Phobia. Other music acts include The Briggs and Beto Cuevas (La Ley). Espada is currently working with client Esai Morales in the next installment of the Mission: Impossible franchise.

Espada PR's Corporate Division represents Gladius Animation Studios, NGL Collective including their brand Hispanicize and is a media partner of BeondTV.

Awards & Appointments include: University of Massachusetts Boston, Student Services Award (1987), Mission: Renaissance 10 Year Award (2004), Larry Gluck's Artistic Freedom Award (2008), National Puerto Rican Day Parade Board of Directors (2019), City National Bank Advisory Board Member (2019) and Drug Free World's NFL M.V.P. (2020).

With a career spanning over two decades, Espada was directly responsible for bringing the first independent camera crew inside a California Prison in spite a Supreme Court order not allowing cameras inside prisons. She was also the first publicist from her country to become a member of the TV Academy.

Espada has been endorsed by both the Associated Press and Traditional Home Magazine as "One of the most persistent publicists in Hollywood."

Jasmin Espada is a member of the Television Academy and is an alumni of Catholic University, University of Massachusetts and The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. She is based in Westlake Village, California.
