Biography

Travis Lupher

Biography

  • Travis Lupher was born on the 13th of March 1981 and from an early age he always exhibited interest in the world of film production. His movie-making career began as a kid as he developed short movies with his older brother (Brad Lupher) and they used friends and family as their actors and critics. Filming everything on their father's home video camera and editing everything together with two VCR's.

The movie making went from a fun hobby to a true passion while in college. He created three short films "Fixed", "Claustrophobia" and "Luther's Point" which were all well received. He also developed an online comic book/film project entitled "Demise of the Damned". "Fixed" would win a Best SFX award from the Kansas University online student film festival. His short film "Claustrophobia" would later receive 5th place out of 500 entries in the Urban Chillers international short film contest. "Claustrophobia" was featured on apple.com. "Luther's Point" would be featured in the Pink Trailer Film festival in Loveland Colorado.

After graduating college with a Multimedia and Animation degree, he created his own company "Lupher Arts" which would later become the premier wedding videographer in the state of Colorado.

Travis' real passion has always been making movies. After a few years away from making movies he would return in 2010. He directed, shot and cut the 48 hour film "Time Changes Everything." He followed that up by directing, editing and shooting the film "Dead Vengeance" in 2011. That film would go on to win "Best Editing", "Best Cinematography" and "Best sound design" in the 48 Hour Film Festival. In between those two films Travis had the experience of working on a campaign of Doritos commercials that would really introduce him to just what can be done when you have the right team in place. That is why he created LA Motion Pix. To establish a team of people that could take movie making to the next level.
