William Clay Ford Jr.
William Clay Ford Jr. is an American businessman who was the great-grandson of Ford Motor Company founder Henry Ford and great-grandson of Firestone Tires founder Harvey S. Firestone. William joined Ford in 1979 and held a variety of positions before becoming Chairman in 1999. He added the title of CEO in 2001 and the titles of COO and President in 2006 before stepping down that same year. He remains an executive chairman at the company. He is also chairman of the United States-Mexico Chamber of Commerce and the vice chairman of the Detroit Lions, a team that's been in the family for decades and is owned by his sister Sheila Ford Hamp. William was preceded as Ford Motor Company president by his great-grandfather Henry Ford, his grandfather Edsel Ford and his uncle, Henry Ford II. He is married to Lisa Vanderzee, and they have four children together.
