Biography

Morgan West is an American actor known for portraying grounded, capable characters in high-stakes worlds defined by quiet competence, integrity, and resilience. From first responders and military personnel to pilots, coaches, and everyday heroes facing extraordinary circumstances, his work often explores the people others rely on when everything is on the line.

A graduate of NYU's prestigious Tisch School of the Arts, West studied at Stonestreet Studios before continuing his training in the Meisner technique. While building his acting career, he simultaneously worked in emergency medicine, fitness, and outdoor athletics; experiences that continue to shape both his perspective and his performances.

A nationally registered EMT, strength coach, ski instructor, and private pilot, West brings genuine technical knowledge to many of the professions he portrays. Rather than researching these worlds from a distance, he has spent years working in and around them, lending an authenticity to the first responders, law enforcement officers, military personnel, athletes, and everyday heroes who populate much of his work.

Born and raised outside Cleveland, Ohio, West developed a love of aviation, the outdoors, and physical performance at an early age. Those interests remain a central part of his life away from the camera, where he continues to fly, train, ski, and pursue new challenges that deepen his understanding of the characters he plays. He is based in Los Angeles.

An avid mountain athlete, he loves the outdoors and even summited Mt. Whitney, the tallest mountain in the continental United States at 14508ft, in a single day (2019).

Has over 7 years of professional Ballet and Tap dance training. West claims to still dance on occasion.

Raised in the small town of Fairview Park, Ohio.

Attended NYU's Tisch School of the Arts alongside classmate Miles Teller. The two even appeared in early student films together.
