Biography

Colt Brown went from being a Green Beret in the US Army to an Actor and writer in Hollywood.

Notable credits include playing Alec in Taylor Sheridan's "Yellowstone" prequel "1923" with Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren, filmed and set in his home state of Montana.

Born and raised in Montana he grew up working on a ranch breaking horses, working cattle, and farming. After High School he Joined the Army Reserve and studied engineering, first at the University of Montana, then Montana State. Eventually Colt switched gears and entered the US Army Special Forces where he earned his Green Beret. Storytelling and making music had always been an important part of Colt's life, so after the military he went to acting school.
