Steve Grabusky

Steven Grabo, better known for his antics with The Misplaced Comedy
Group, has been seen on Film and Television, heard on radio stations
throughout three Continents, and has won several National Broadcasting
and Production awards for his many conceptual productions. His comedy
group was noted at "The #1 Internet Comedy Troupe" by MP3.com and
listed as one of "The Best Emerging Artists" in American Idol Magazine
(Vol. 3 Issue 2). Steve's role as Michael Sutting in "Perception" shows
yet another side to his many abilities as a performing artist.
Born in Lebanon, Pa., Steve grew up in Central Pa. playing baseball while self producing Old Radio Show type cassette tapes for his friends who would go off to camp for the summer. He would play all the roles and voices, which would present helpful later in his radio and acting careers. Throughout high school, he spent his days and evenings playing baseball, while being involved in various choirs and every stage production possible, while working part time at the Lebanon Daily News as a sports correspondent. In college, Steve started his songwriting career, while performing in the College's version of The Fantasticks. While At Millersville, and playing with several loose-knit rock and roll bands, Steve traveled throughout 3 different counties, finding positions at every radio station throughout Central Pa., under different names, as to not conflict with his other radio personalities. He later founded Millersville University's Chapter of The National Broadcasting Society-AERho, while being inducted for his production work at NBS-AERho's National Convention in Manhattan, New York (1994). After an adviser took credit for his productions, he left the University to pursue a career in music.
Steve, along with Berklee (Boston) grad Karen Wolfe, founded the progressive rock band IRIS, from 1994-'97. After performing at various locations with several home made recordings, the band had gotten signed with Rockville Records. IRIS parted ways in the recording studio not finishing their debut album, leaving Steve holding the bag to continue recording overnights in the Rockville Studio. He eventually won several awards for his songwriting at Calamite Competition for two of his pieces, while also co-writing the theme song for the stage production of The Prince Of Cornwall, with long time friend, Ian Bonner.
In 1999-01, Steve moved to South Carolina to work with The Adventure Radio Group and eventually became the Creative and Production Director for the entire conglomerate, while pulling On-Air shifts for 6 of their 7 stations. While at Adventure, he started producing various comical episodes to enhance his radio shows, using the exploits of topical news stories and characters he created for his friends when he was younger.
After his stint at Adventure, Steve won several awards in acting and modeling with Millie Louis' AMTC National Convention, which landed him several agents to pursue acting. While working on various films and performing Stand-Up Comedy, He spent 2 seasons with Genevieve Ramsey's Pushcart Players before starting his own comedic acting troupe The Misplaced Comedy Group. The MCG then started performing improv, along with releasing various CDs of various comical snippets he started from his antics at Adventure Radio. In 2001-02, The MCG received National exposure for their CD The Afghan Files, featuring several parody songs and sketches about Bin Laden.
In 2002, Steve moved to Sarasota, Florida, to continue producing The Misplaced Comedy Group, while voicing for an ABC affiliate, and act in several film projects. He continues to be the voice for a variety of productions, while releasing new material every year.
